Reason Ariel Tatum Steady Chooses Childfree Until Now

JAKARTA - Ariel Tatum openly admits that he has a desire for childfree, aka a term that describes a person or partner's decision not to have children.

"Yes, I don't know, but getting older, I used to want to have a lot of children at this point in my life. You ask me how, I am currently more inclined to childfree," Ariel Tatum was quoted as saying by VOI from the YouTube channel Denny Sumargo, Friday, February 7.

Not only the reason, Ariel Tatum has many considerations regarding this, one of which is his mental health condition, which is afraid that it will have an impact on the child.

"I've had a lot of emotional and mental things so I know that every woman will experience hormonal changes that will have a big impact on her. I don't know if I'm ready to go through that or not," he said.

Then the compromise that he must decide later with his partner further strengthens him to prefer to adopt children.

"For example, how will I and my partner raise them, what values will we instill for them. I think a lot if I don't find the right life partner, it's better for me to take care of the children who already exist in the world but don't get their rights as children," he continued.

Being active as a person involved in a special community helping disadvantaged children makes him prefer to help underprivileged children.

"From the beginning, one of the most important issues in my life is the right of Indonesian children. I have a community with friends where we help street children for them to get their basic rights. For example, learning, playing, and eating health," he explained.

Even so, Ariel does not want to judge that it is not good for people who choose to be childfree, for her helping less fortunate children is more ideal.

"I'm not saying the people who have children only think about their own egos. I just feel that for me, helping children in need will be much more ideal," he concluded.
