SHINee's Taemin Enlisting In The Military May 31st

JAKARTA - Taemin from the K-pop group SHINee announced plans for his mandatory military service which will be carried out on May 31.

Monday, April 19, Taemin made a V Live broadcast where he shared this announcement with fans.

“There's still one month left so I don't want to spend it feeling sad. I want to tell you in person", he said.

The announcement was shared after his agency SM Entertainment revealed Taemin's online concert: Never Gonna Dance Again to be held on May 2.

Besides, Taemin will also release his new album in the second or third week of May. "The album schedule has not been confirmed but I want to put on a brilliant final musical performance," he said further.

Recently, Taemin and SHINee finished promoting a Repackaged album, entitled Atlantis after releasing a full album titled Don't Call Me.

Taemin is the last member to carry out military service. Minho, Onew, and Key have completed their mandatory assignments and are actively preparing with their solo projects.
