JAKARTA - Actress Barbie Hsu died in Japan on February 2 due to pneumonia that she got from the flu. In the midst of sad news, the actress's ex-husband Wang Xiao Fei is in the public spotlight.

Shortly after the sad news emerged, Wang Xiao Fei turned his social media account profile photo black. Then, he turned his photo back into a photo of him and his daughter.

Not only that, some netizens found Wang Xiao Fei walking in the rain after the news of Barbie Hsu's death.

The relationship between Wang Xiao Fei and Barbie Hsu was not good. They got married in 2011 when Barbie Hsu's name was popular in the Taiwan entertainment industry.

11 years later, Wang and Barbie Hsu chose a divorce, but the husband is suspected of having an affair and some issues related to politics. When divorced, Wang was also claimed to have failed to fulfill his wife's obligations.

In November 2024, Barbie Hsu sued Wang Xiao Fei and his mother for insults. He released a statement that he had recruited a legal team to take action against the two of them who made insults on social media such as Weibo and Douyin.

According to the Straits Times, the document states Zhang Lan, Wang's mother, has continued to send negative comments on Barbie Hsu's live broadcast since November 21, 2022, as has her son since the end of 2022.

Apart from her ex-husband, Barbie will also report netizens who do the same.

After the divorce, Barbie Hsu married DJ Koo who was her ex-lover 20 years ago. Wang also considered this an alleged affair he wrote on social media.

"I don't want to say anything more, but what happened in the past, has happened so don't attack each other," wrote Wang Xiao Fei.

Barbie Hsu denied the alleged affair by writing, "It's hard to keep or end a 10-year marriage. I don't have the power and don't dare to cheat."

On the other hand, currently, Barbie Hsu's body will be cremated in Japan and is planned to be brought back to Taiwan.
