Bantah Producer New Actor Plays T'Challa In Black Panther 3

JAKARTA - Marvel Studio responded to rumors that the character T' Challa would be played by other actors for Black Panther 3. It is known that the role was played by Chadwick Boseman before he died.

Nate Moore of Marvel denied the news, even saying they had not started any production for this third Black Panther film.

The truth is, there is no truth to the rumors. Never give up on everything because we haven't started discussions with (director) Ryan Coogler," Nate Moore quoted Deadline as saying.

"He just finished shooting the film Sinners which aired this year. We'll talk about (Black Panther 3) maybe this year, but whatever you read on the internet is not true. If there's a reason, it's because we haven't worked on it yet," he said.

Nate Moore reportedly left Marvel Studio but is still working together on the production of Black Panther 3.

Chadwick Boseman plays T Challa and appears in the 2016 film Captain America: Civil War. Then, he has his solo film through Black Panther in 2018.

Boseman also appeared in two Avengers films before he died in August 2020. He was diagnosed with stage three of colon cancer.

The conversation about the role of TChalla began when actor Denzel Washington revealed that he was considered as the character in the new Black Panther film. He said Ryan Coogler was writing parts of him in the third film.

Ryan Coogler did not respond to Denzel Washington's statement.
