SHINee's Taemin Absent At SMTOWN Concert, Voice Opening Agency

JAKARTA - Taemin's absence from SHINee's performance at the SMTOWN LIVE 2025 concert last week drew a negative response from fans. It is known that this concert was held by SM Entertainment as a celebration of the company's 30th anniversary.

Two SHINee members, Minho and Key, were seen attending considering they were still under the agency. Unlike Onew and Taemin who were not present at the concert, but Onew is still visible in some digital content celebrating 30 years.

Fans began to question Taemin's whereabouts considering that Taemin is now an artist from BPM Entertainment. Realizing this, Taemin sent a message to fans apologizing for not being able to participate in the concert.

Taemin explained that his agency and SM Entertainment had not had time to discuss so he could not attend. The youngest member of the SHINee group expressed his love for the group that made his name and wanted to appear with SHINee.

Wednesday, January 15, Big Planet Made (BPM) released a statement to reply to rumors that their new agency was preventing Taemin from doing activities with SHINee.

BPM also explained that they always support Taemin both as a soloist and as a member of the SHINee group.

"We will continue to actively support Taemin soloically and as a member of SHINee, protect and help him develop as an artist," the agency continued.
