JAKARTA - Dutch DJ duo Jim and Nils, better known as Yellow Claw, added to their line-up with DRXGS in collaboration with Indonesian singer Sara Fajira.

Through an official statement as reported from Antara on Wednesday, DRXGS lyrics tell a broken love story, but still reminisce about a strong relationship. Yellow Claw combines hooks performed by Sara Fajira and Yellow Claw member Nils, wrapped in charming tropical melodies and compelling productions.

Sara, who has won three music awards including Song of The Year, graced DRXGS with her resounding vocals.

Sara was the figure behind Weird Genius's global hit Lathi, which has amassed over 300 million streams and 500 million views on TikTok and broke the record as the #1 longest-running song on Spotify. Lathi was also named the most searched song on Google Indonesia for 2020.

Since 2010, the DJ duo have built discography in collaboration with a string of singers such as Tinashe, Fatman Scoop, Saweetie, and Offset (members of Migos), with streams reaching one billion.

Their music expanded into several genres, from very loud music such as Do You Like Bass, DJ Turn It Up with DJ Snake, to the song In My Room with DJ Mustard, TY Dolla $ign & Tyga, and Fake Chanel with A$AP Ferg.

The collaboration with Sara is also not the first time Yellow Claw has collaborated with Indonesian talents. After spending the last 12 months on the island of Bali, they continued to look for Indonesian talent to collaborate, one of which was for bass god song featuring rising rapper Ramengvrl and producer Rich Brian & NIKI, as well as A&R from Pluus Record, SIHK.

Not to mention Hush's song with the largest DJ trio in Indonesia, Weird Genius & Reikko, who is also a young talent from Pluus Record, which has produced more than 20 million streams collectively to date.

Yellow Claw, who is usually seen playing on the main stage of world music festivals, such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and Coachella, has been absent from touring for the past 12 months like any other musician. However, they remain busy with a series of live streaming shows, such as Djakarta Warehouse Project Virtual, Insomniac, and Hydeout Festival.
