Andien Aisyah's Story Who Built A Special School For Scavengers

Singer Andien Aisyah is known not only for his musical works, but also for his concern for social problems.

One of its biggest initiatives is to build special schools for scavengers' children. Through this project, Andien not only focused on the entertainment world, but also tried to provide positive changes to the community that was under paid attention.

Andien has founded the Andien Aisyah Foundation as a form of real action by sharing in social activities. He was moved to build a foundation, because the reality of life is getting worse.

"The long journey of Andien Aisyah Foundation and contributing to social activities," said Andien, when met at Senayan City, Central Jakarta on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

"For years, I have focused on children, vulnerable women. I think this is more suitable as a forum for those in need. I also hope that many will support and contribute more," he added.

The Andien Aisyah Foundation has also succeeded in building a special school for scavengers for the past few years. In addition, Andien also went directly to share in the scavenger village.

"We are building a free children's school for scavengers. In the scavenger village it's free, already graduating for 200 people," he said.

In addition to education, the Andien Foundation also participates in improving social welfare, by providing support for health programs and other social activities that can improve the quality of life of the community.

Andien invites the Indonesian people to participate in sharing activities with people in need.

"We have lived for decades on this earth, we should give. Friends can share with people in need. It could also be that knowledge they have can be disseminated." he continued.
