Ari Lasso once told how he and Vitta got into a relationship. They started when they met on campus. Since 1996, Ari has liked Vitta even though Vitta already has a lover. Ari still intends to approach Vitta.

After getting Vitta, their relationship did not go smoothly. The reason is, Ari received opposition from his parents because they had different beliefs. Ari remained determined to fight for their relationship until he officially married in 1999.

Ari Lasso had a rare cancer in 2021 until he had to undergo surgery to remove a tumor. At this difficult moment, Vitta continued to accompany Ari. In an interview he revealed that their children were open if Ari and Vitta had to go abroad for several months.
