JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) will fully support the implementation of the 2024 Jakarta Waterbomb Festival. It is planned that this festival will be held at Phantom Ground Park at PIK 2, Tangerang Regency.

Menparekraf RI, Sandiaga Uno admitted that he really supports this event. Because with this festival, it is alleged that it will attract visitors in Indonesia to enjoy Korean music.

Sandiaga said that the government would continue to encourage the holding of events to continue. Because this will have a big impact on economic revival and the openness of employment opportunities.

It is known that Waterbomb Jakarta 2024 is a music festival from South Korea that invites visitors to enjoy the appearance of favorite musicians.

Moreover, the event was marked with gunfire with a gun, so the atmosphere at the festival was even more interesting.

"I'm really happy, usually Indonesians watch concerts abroad, now we can attract foreign tourists, especially this event is held at PIK 2 which is an extraordinary tourist destination," Sandi said in his statement, Wednesday, October 16.

The CEO of Prestige Corporation, Rudy Salim, explained, 'Waterbomb Jakarta' will present 20 line-up musicians. There are four Indonesian musicians, and the rest are musicians from South Korea.

"This time the concept is different, we have an off-road area, there is a beauty area, so it's like Tomorrowland's (music festival). The festival starts from 12 noon to 2 am. If people want to take a break there is a mass area, so it's really like Tomorrowland but from the Asian version," said Rudy Salim.

He also hopes that the festival, which presents K-pop, hip-hop, and EDM music performances, will not only attract domestic tourists but also from abroad.

"Don't let our people go abroad to watch concerts, they have to be in Indonesia," he said.
