JAKARTA - The senior actress Purwaniatun passed away, Monday, March 23. The actress who often played the role of Si Mbok died at 10.33 am WIB.

Reporting from various sources, Purwaniatun died of uterine cancer he suffered. He just found out if he had cancer less than last month. However, at that time the cancer cells had not yet entered a high stage.

After finding out that he had uterine cancer, he immediately asked to be removed.

However, entering the 40th day, after the operation was carried out, Purwaniatun was conscious but his condition had deteriorated since he was treated. Various actions were taken for the healing process, but today he is said to have passed away.

Purwaniatun is known as a soap opera star who often plays the role of a household assistant or the mbok.

Although lately he rarely plays soap operas, he still takes the time to attend television shows. One of them was Brownis on a private television two months ago - the same time that Purwaniatun was undergoing treatment.
