The popularity of this film makes Apple TV willing to spend a large amount of funds worth USD 25 million (Rp.350 billion more).

Apple TV also successfully remakes this film into a film called CODA which in 2021. CODA has made history by winning the most Sundance Film Festival award of all time with 4 trophies, in the category of US Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic, Audience Award: US Dramatic, US Dramatic Special Jury Award for Ensemble Cast, and Directing Award: US Dramatic prize.

The film La Famille Bélier itself tells the story of Paula (Louane Emera) being raised in a farming and livestock environment. Her parents, Rodolphe Belier (Francois Damien) and Gigi (Karin Viard), are both deaf and mute. His younger brother, Quentin (Luca Gelberg) has a similar fate. At school, Paula gets along well with Mathilde (Roxane Duran). One day, there is a choir audition that demands participants to show off their vocals in front of the teacher, Mr. Thomasson (Eric Elmosnino).

Mathilde was rejected because her voice was considered a disaster. However, Paula was accepted on the grounds that she had a good alto. In that class, Paula knows Gabriel (Ilian Bergala) who is handsome and quiet. Thought to have harmonious vocals, Thomasson matched them up in the song "I Will Love You." Thomasson also reported that there was a vocal audition in France.
