Released Official Poster, Sofi Story Film Promises Horror Watch Using Logic

JAKARTA - Bangun Pagi Pictures released an official poster from a horror film entitled Cerita Sofi which was scheduled to launch in theaters in 2024.

Sofi's Director, Ivan Bandhito, said horror films have various sub-genres. However, Sofi's story still offers reasoning and logic to horror viewers.

"The global market on the film industry in the country, especially the horror genre films that are synonymous with hamlet settings and religious clothes as moral identities, are not easy to fight," said Ivan in a statement, Sunday, April 7.

The film Cerita Sofi tells the story of a character named Sofi and his four siblings who experience tragic events while on vacation in their hometown.

The form of the negligence of one of them brings to terror that haunts and the mystery they have to break amid an raging personal conflict and reconciliation of them as a family.

"The main strength of the film The story of Sofi, apart from being a gripping ghost, is also coupled with a mystery that has finally been revealed behind the terror that haunts this film," added Bangun Pagi Pictures Executive Producer Jonathan HM.

In the film, Cerita Sofi features a series of young film players such as Joshua Suherman, Annette Edoarda, Sarah Beatrix, Naura Hakim, to Irsyadillah.

However, this film is also supported by senior stars, such as Roweina Umboh, Ferry Salim and Egi Fedly. In addition, there is also a cameo character played by Natasha Germania.
