Cha Eun Woo ASTRO Consider Playing In The Island, Drakor About People Who Want To End The Curse

JAKARTA - Actor and K-pop idol Cha Eun Woo ASTRO is reportedly considering an offer to act in the Korean drama OCN, Island.

Today, March 2, Fantagio's agency confirmed, Cha Eun Woo is reviewing the offer positively. If Cha Eun Woo takes this offer, then Island will be his second project in 2021 after True Beauty which ended last February.

Previously, several names such as Kim Nam Gil, Seo Ye Ji, and Im Siwan received an offer to star in Island. However, these three actors have not confirmed their participation.

Island is OCN's latest Korean drama adapted from a webtoon of the same name. This Drakor tells of a person named Pan who wants to end the curse in his life.

There is also Won Mi Ho, the son of a rich person who is the target of the goblins. The two men were accompanied by a pastor named John who was traumatized because he could not save someone.

They are on a beautiful island but have an evil darkness enveloping the area.

Cha Eun Woo received an offer as Kang Chan Hyuk or Pastor John. He grew up in the United States and was diligent in watching Korean dramas to keep his first language memorized. Kang Chan Hyuk is a friendly priest but he keeps the past alive.

Previously, the role of John was also offered to Im Siwan. Meanwhile, Kim Nam Gil and Seo Ye Ji for the roles of Pan and Won Min Ho.

Filming for the Korean drama Island will begin in the second half of 2021.
