JAKARTA - Disney's streaming service, Disney Plus, announced a number of delays to programs, as well as plans that were released in 2019. The latest is the delay of filming the series Falcon and the Winter Soldier in Prague, Czech Republic this week.

Initially, Disney Plus started shooting in Atlanta, where Marvel Studios completed many of its films. However, they began moving to the Czech Republic on Friday. Reported by The Wrap, the team and staff were sent home from Atlanta. Even though this series is planned to be aired in August.

This is not the first time the Disney Plus team has postponed their production process. Previously they canceled the production process in Puerto Rico after the earthquake occurred in January.

The series stars Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier and Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon. A number of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) characters are also confirmed to be returning to the lineup.

Previously, Disney canceled the launch of Disney Plus in the UK on March 24 due to the coronavirus. They plan to conduct a press briefing via the internet next week.

"We appreciate your understanding that this plan was made with the care and attention of everyone," wrote Disney quoted from Variety.

Disney's decision to cancel the event followed a number of international film festivals in Europe being canceled, such as Switzerland's International Film Festival and the Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH).

Disney Plus has not announced any further plans for these cancellations. But this news was greeted negatively by fans due to his schedule being delayed. Not to mention that apart from production delays, they also haven't given any updates about the series and films they are working on.
