JAKARTA - The West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Detective Unit arrested a female public figure with the initials JJ for allegedly being linked to narcotics (drugs) in one of the elite housing estates in the Ancol area, North Jakarta.

"It is true, we have just secured a public figure", said West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Ady Wibowo in Jakarta, Wednesday, quoted from Antaranews.com.

JJ was arrested on suspicion of drug with her two colleagues. Meanwhile, the Head of West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit AKBP Ronaldo Maradona Siregar said the public figure was being investigated. "We're still checking", said Ronaldo.

The examination of JJ and her two colleagues was carried out by Unit 1 for the Narcotics Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, led by the Head of Unit 1 AKP Arif Purnama Oktora.

"We secure it in one of the elite housing estates in the Ancol area, West Jakarta", he said.

West Jakarta Metro Police Public Relations said that JJ is the wife of a soap opera actor who used to play the antagonist of the Anak Band film, the wife of the Anak Band film.
