Song Joong Ki's Story About His Character In The Korean Drama 'Vincenzo'

JAKARTA - The Korean drama Vincenzo will be broadcasted starting this week. Ahead of the broadcast, the actors talked about their characters at the press conference that was held on February 15 yesterday.

Song Joong Ki as the main character feels Vincenzo's character is related to him.

“We hear news about bad people all over the place. When I got the synopsis, there were a few lines of the script about the author's intentions. I've never felt connected to the scriptwriter's goals before”, Song Joong Ki told Soompi today, February 17th.

Song Joong Ki could sense the social criticism that the writer of Vincenzo wanted to give. “When you read the news, you get angry. You want the bad guy to be punished. Everyone thinks like that".

Song Joong Ki's character is Vincenzo, a Korean-blooded person who returns from Italy. He felt sadness and came into conflict with his organization.

Song Joong Ki had to learn the action scenes as well as learn a little Italian to strengthen Vincenzo's character. In the video distributed by tvN, he mentioned learning languages to be the hardest part.

“The hardest part is I've never been to Italy once. I never speak Italian. I am more afraid of the Italian teacher than the director (Vincenzo)".

Meanwhile, it is reported that two actors and Song Joong Ki's friends made cameos in this drama, namely Jin Sun Kyu and Lee Hee Joon. Jin Suk Kyu acted with Song Joong Ki through Space Sweepers while Lee Hee Joon acted in the movie Bogota.

Song Joong Ki's appearance can be watched through the Korean drama Vincenzo, which airs every Saturday and Sunday at 21:00 South Korean time on tvN and Netflix.
