Priyanka Chopra's Latest Film, "The White Tiger" Has 27 Million Views On Netflix

JAKARTA - Priyanka Chopra Jonas' latest film, The White Tiger scored a high number of views.

Through her social media on Saturday, February 6, Chopra said the film The White Tiger had been watched more than 27 million times within one month of being released on Netflix. In addition, this film also occupies the Top 10 Netflix films in 64 countries.

“It's very emotional for me to see the acceptance of this brilliant story. The inspiring #TheWhiteTiger has been watched by audiences around the world”, Chopra said in a tweet.

The film The White Tiger is the latest film directed by director Ramin Bahrani. Priyanka Chopra Jonas takes the position of the producer as well as the main character in this film.

Adapted from a book of the same title, The White Tiger tells the story of an Indian driver named Balram Halwai (Adarsh Gourav) who uses his cunning ideas to become a successful entrepreneur in India. Chopra played Pinky, the wife of Ashok, played by Rajkummar Rao.

The White Tiger also received appreciation from a number of awards, including nominations in the BAFTA Awards 2021 and the 2021 Independent Spirit Award.
