JAKARTA - System Of A Down vocalist Serj Tankian will release a new solo collection of rock songs, Elasticity, on March 19.

The official music video for the EP's title track, directed by Vlad Kaptur was released on Thursday evening.

The following is the track list in Elasticity

01. Elasticity

02. Your Mom

03. How Many Times?

04. Rumi

05. Electric Yerevan

Elasticity will come four months after the release of Protect The Land and Genocidal Humanoidz, two new songs for System Of A Down in 15 years.

System Of A Down's latest songs are motivated by the recently erupting conflict between Artsakh and Azerbaijan, most recently aided by Turkey and responsible for the biggest violence the region has endured in 26 years.

The title Elasticity is a play on words from System Of A Down's album Toxicity released in 2011.

"I thought I would call it Elasticity just because I wanted to play it with System Of A Down and it didn't happen. That's what I thought about calling it. I haven't finished it yet, but that's what I thought of calling it," Tankian explained to SPIN some time ago.

System Of A Down hasn't released new music since the Mezmerize and Hypnotize albums, which were released in 2005.
