Tom DeLonge Shares Moments Of Making The New Album Of Angels & Airwaves

JAKARTA - Long time no sound, the band Angels & Airwaves is reportedly working on a new album. This news was confirmed by one of its members, Tom DeLonge through his Instagram account.

Monday, February 1st, he shared footage of himself playing on the computer. The caption reads, "This new album @angelsandairwaves is amazing ..."

This photo is not DeLonge's first upload of the new album Angels & Airwaves. Last week, he explained what guitar was used for the project.

Tom DeLonge first confirmed this news last year. At that time, he wrote that this album would return to their roots in punk with progressive music.

We Don't Need to Whisper - Acoustic is the last album released by Angels & Airwaves in 2017. This album was made as a soundtrack for the film Strange Times directed by DeLonge. Later, members David Kennedy and Matt Wachter rejoined the group and released Rebel Girl and Kiss & Tell.

When the COVID-19 pandemic first hit, Angels and Airwaves released a new song All That's Left is Love and all sales were donated to Feeding America.

Currently, Angels & Airwaves is working on their sixth studio album, the release date is not yet known.
