Armie Hammer Quits 'The Offer', A Series About The Making Of The Movie 'The Godfather'

JAKARTA - Actor Armie Hammer reportedly quits from the original Paramount+ series entitled The Offer. This series tells the process of making the classic film The Godfather which was released in 1972.

Cited from Variety, Friday, January 29, Armie Hammer plays as producer Al Ruddy in the series. It is not yet known why he chose to leave.

Previously, Hammer left Lionsgate film production entitled Shotgun Wedding in which he co-starred with Jennifer Lopez.

When deciding to leave Shotgun Wedding, Hammer also quit Gaslit production. The reason is, the schedule clashed with The Offer series.

Hammer's leave from Shotgun Wedding was conveyed in an official statement saying Hammer would not respond to online rumors attacking him.

“I can't think well now that I left my son behind for four months to shoot in the Dominican Republic. Lionsgate supported me on this and I thank them for that".

A few weeks ago, Armie Hammer stumbled on a sexual harassment case. Some women claim the actor sent perverted messages tinged with cannibalism. The situation got even more complicated after Hammer's closest person also spoke up about the issue.
