JAKARTA - The COVID-19 pandemic presents a period full of challenges in various aspects of our lives. Activities that were originally normal, suddenly changed because the invisible enemy continued to lurk and endanger lives.

However, many choose to face times of uncertainty by continuing to work to hone and adapt to new habits. Thus, the wheel of life continues. Including musicians.

Dody Is, composer of the song 3 Wajib, said he was inspired by the pandemic conditions. "I was asked to make a Mars song. Initially I was confused because in Kahitna I played a pop song. Mars had to be happy, excited, happy, and it didn't take long for me to make it. Got the tone, finally I entered the 3 compulsory campaign," he explained during the Musikalitas talk show. In the midst of a pandemic at the Media Center Graha BNPB, Jakarta, Friday, January 22.

Mario Ginanjar being one of the singers on March admitted that he was happy to be able to join other singers in this song. "For me as long as we can do good through our musical talents, I will always follow suit. Of course in the midst of a pandemic there is an invitation for us to be more aware of Aman, Imun, Aman," he said.

Even though the pandemic kept them from being able to perform, creativity did not break. After composing the song 3 Mandatory, Dody Is wanted to make a 3M obedient challenge.

"I want to make a February challenge to use masks continuously for a month. In essence, I want to invite all people to obey 3M: wear masks, wash their hands, and stay away from crowds," added Dody Is.

Mario Ginanjar admitted that the pandemic also provided life lessons. "The pandemic made me not confused. Learning to be mentally prepared, emergency funds. So far, we are thinking that tomorrow we will sing again, the schedule for 2021 is not bad. It turns out that all pandemics were canceled, there I learned that nothing is certain in this world," Mario Ginanjar.

"There are many people at home, a lot of work, lots of ideas. This pandemic has made the collaboration of musicians bigger with interesting ideas. Hopefully they can be more creative after the pandemic has passed," added Dody Is.
