JAKARTA - Two academics at the State University of Surabaya (Unesa), namely Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH) as well as lecturer at the Sociology Study Program Ari Wahyudi and Geography Education lecturer Murtedjo died from COVID-19.

"Pak Murtedjo died Wednesday, January 20 evening, Mr. Ari this morning at 08.00 WIB. Both were positive for COVID-19," said Head of Public Relations of Unesa Vinda Maya Setianingrum when confirmed in Surabaya, reported by Antara, Thursday, January 21.

A week before he died, Vinda received information that they had communicated with the Whastapp Group (WAG) of COVID-19 survivors Unesa.
