Bridgerton Series Sex Scenes Uploaded To Porn Site, Netflix Claims Copyright

JAKARTA - Netflix streaming service is fighting against porn sites. This is because the sex scenes in the original Bridgerton series were widely circulated on the internet within four weeks of its release.

Bridgerton has seen over 63 million views four weeks after its release on December 25.

However, the sex scenes that were part of the series' material have been illegally uploaded to adult video sharing sites. As a result, Netflix is reporting the videos as abuse of intellectual property.

Reportedly, one of Bridgerton's players, Phoebe Dynevor, was annoyed by the many pieces of sex scenes that were uploaded arbitrarily.

“The stills circulating are rumors, even though this is a special drama based on a best-selling novel. Putting a scene as perverted is beyond bounds, ”a source told The Sun today, January 20th.

This also made Dynevor's opponent, Regé-Jean Page, who did not expect to be exploited like this.

Bridgerton is a Netflix television series released in late 2020. Produced by Shonda Rhymes, Bridgerton tells the story of Daphne Bridgerton (played by Phoebe Dynevor) who is looking for a life partner.

Apart from Bridgerton, a similar issue has been passed by Game of Thrones and Normal People. Sex scenes from both series were uploaded illegally through the PornHub website and were successfully deleted after claims from producers.
