Korean Drama My Mister Officially Adapted In Chinese Drama, Loving Strangers

JAKARTA - The Korean drama My Mister has been officially adapted into a Chinese drama entitled Loving Strangers. This drama is included in the list of projects announced by Youku streaming service some time ago.

My Mister is a slice of life drama starring Lee Sun Kyung and IU. This drama tells the relationship between an engineer who is experiencing difficulties at work and a part-time worker who is planning something.

Park Dong Hoon (Lee Sun Kyun) one day received a bribe which was witnessed by Lee Ji An (IU). Lee Ji An, who is in debt and must support his grandmother, tries to get Park Dong Hoon out of his job.

Released in 2018, this drama received a high rating and received a positive response from the audience. My Mister also won a number of awards at APAN Star and Baeksang Arts.

Youku announced that My Mister will be adapted through a Chinese drama entitled Loving Strangers. They released the first poster showing a sketch of a woman with an earphone and a man's shadow.

At the same time, two main players of Loving Strangers were announced to the public. Mark Chao and Zhang Zi Feng are confirmed to compete in the drama directed by Van Han.

Mark Chao will play Jiang Jia Qi while Zhang Zi Feng becomes Liang Zhi An or Lee Ji An in China's adaptation.

Reportedly, the shooting process will be carried out in Qingdao and will run for 110 days. Even so, Youku has not announced when this drama will air.
