Virgoun-Inara Rusli's Love Journey: From A Romantic Song, Infidelity, Ends With A Divorce Lawsuit

JAKARTA - Virgoun and Inara Rusli's love journey caught the attention of netizens after Virgoun admitted to having an affair. Inara was previously a singer who was born on February 19, 1993 in Jakarta.

He was born with his full name Ina Idol Rusli and has been an advertising star since he was in elementary school (SD). In November 2011, Inara again had a career as a member of the girl band Bexxa. At that time, the girl band phenomenon was mushrooming in Indonesia so that it gave birth to various groups.

Bexxa released her first song, See Aku with a mini album containing six songs. Eight members including Inara are active in their career until 2013. Inara began acting in soap operas and several FTV titles including Mrs. Ijah Pengen to Mecca, Ganteng Ganteng Serigala (GGS), and Thugs Insyaf.

In 2014, Inara Rusli officially married Virgoun who had just embraced Islam. Their marriage was blessed with three children, one of whom was Starla who became the inspiration for the song Virgoun entitled Surat Cinta Untuk Starla.

Virgoun even composed a song called Evidence for Inara. The two songs made Virgoun famous as a soloist.

Virgoun's success is in fact inversely proportional to his household. Inara revealed the affair that Virgoun has been undergoing since 2021.

Trying to maintain marriage by not suing for divorce, Virgoun immediately decided to divorce Inara after admitting his mistake.

Virgoun prefers to save his work by calling the song Evidence made from the heart, but now his heart has changed.

After admitting that he had an affair, Virgoun through his attorney, Sandy Arifin said he would sue for divorce from his wife, Inara Rusli.

"I sincerely composed the song Evidence and other songs from my wife's heart. If in the course of time the feelings in the song change, it doesn't necessarily turn into a lie. Why does that feel change? The reason is that I know and don't need to be revealed to many people," said Virgoun in his video statement.

"For the issue of song issues, the most important problem is about the song Evidence that I did create for my wife. The mother of my children that I can say is that all the works I created were honest works, works that I felt, I created with feelings that happened when I wrote the song, when the song was created," continued Virgoun.

After making the video, Lawyer Sandy Arifin admitted that he had just been appointed by Virgoun as a lawyer to file for divorce.

"I have received power from Mas Virgoun Teguh Putra. There are two power of attorney, for us to file a lawsuit at the Religious Court which we will register, God willing, next week," said Sandy Arifin to the media crew at the Polim Commander, South Jakarta on Saturday, April 29.
