JAKARTA - Ari Lasso has been rumored to have converted to Islam several times. However, this issue came from the singer himself.

Through his YouTube channel, Ari Lasso uploaded a more than 30 minutes long video with the title ALMOST THE LOSS OF JIS?! ADP PAKSA ARYLASSO SAID SYAHADAT??? DETAILED THE LEVEL OF DEWA!! " ON March 8 last.

The video was taken by a team from Ari Lasso TV shortly before the Dewa 19 concert which was held at the Siliwangi Stadium, Bandung City, West Java on March 5, 2023.

In the video, Ari Lasso and Dewa 19 personnel were seen praying backstage before the gig, led by religious leaders from PBNU.

After finishing praying, Ahmad Dhani looked at Ari Lasso's face with a smile. Then the 19th God frontman said the sentence of creed.

"Asyhadu an laa laa lahaha illallaahu," said Ahmad Dhani.

Knowing the meaning of the joke from Dhani, everyone on the backstage laughed, as did Ari Lasso.

Before going to the stage, Ari Lasso and Ello who were beside him, who incidentally were also Christians, were said to be safe by another colleague.
