JAKARTA - NCT Dream released the English song for the first time. The English version of Beatbox was officially released today, Tuesday, March 21, 2023 digitally.

Initially NCT Dream announced this news in a live broadcast after holding THE DREAM SHOW 2 concert in Bangkok. They revealed the release plan in the form of audio as well as music videos.

"On March 21, two days before my birthday, we will release the English version for our Beatbox song at 13.00 South Korean time," said Renjun, one of NCT Dream members.

"The music video will have a lyric format, and the song will be digitally released at the same time," added Haechan.

According to them, the English-language Beatbox version has a different feel from the original version. Although the lyrics and tones are still appropriate, this is a challenge for the seven-member group.

Personally, I feel very happy when recording the English version of Beatbox. Because it feels different (from the Korean version)," explained Renjun.

The English version of Beatbox is not far from the original version. The thing that distinguishes is the lyrics that contain English with a meaning similar to the original version, namely having fun and enjoying time.

This song is NCT Dream's latest release after releasing their first winter album, Candy in December 2022. Fans welcomed this new release by tweeting #Beatbox_EnglishVer and #7DREAMBeatboxEngVer.

The music video contains English lyrics written by members. This format is one of the physical album versions of Beatbox's repackaged album which was launched last year where members designed their version of the album.

On the other hand, NCT Dream is on a world tour on several continents. They will appear in Hong Kong on March 25 before starting their European tour starting from London on March 28.

As for NCT Dream's new song, the English version of Beatbox can be listened to digitally.
