JAKARTA - Sad news came from the world of Hollywood. Actor Lance Reddick passed away on Friday morning, March 17, 2023, Los Angeles time. The actor was found dead at his home and is said to have died naturally.

Lance Reddick's departure certainly surprised Hollywood, as did franchise fan John Wick. The reason is, John Wick Chapter 4's latest film will air next week, exactly a week from Reddick's death.

Condolences poured in from the public including fellow actors and artists. Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski also released a joint statement.

"We feel sad and saddened by the passing of our friend Lance Reddick. He is a very fun professional," Reeves and Stahelski said in a statement.

Our love and prayers are for Stephanie, her wife, children, family, and friends. We dedicate the film to the loved ones. We will miss her," he continued.

The official account for the film John Wick: Chapter Four uploaded a photo of Lance Reddick and called the actor a kind person.

James Gunn said Lance Reddick was a very talented actor.

Questlove musician uploaded a photo of Lance Reddick via his Instagram account. He wrote, 'I can't stand it. Rest in peace, Lance Reddick.'

Lance Reddick died in 60 years and left his wife Stephanie and her two children.
