JAKARTA - Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee play the main characters in the latest South Korean film, Soulmate. The film directed by Min Yong Keun is an adaptation of the Taiwanese film of the same name.

The adaptation of the film Soulmate was first announced during the 2020 pandemic. New Movie as the production house uploaded photos of Kim Da Mi, Jeon So Nee, and one other actor, Byun Woo Seok who walked on the beach.

With the theme of coming of age, Soulmate focuses on the story of friendship, the search for identity, as well as finding true love with best friends.

The friendship of two young girls began at one time on Jeju Island. Ahn Mi So (Kim Da Mi) moved from Seoul and met Go Ha Eun (Jeon So Nee) who was studying at the same school.

Ahn Mi So is a free, confident figure, and does not want to hang out with other children. This is different from Go Ha Eun who is diligent, smart, diligent, and obedient. The two began to be friends when they were 12 years old and promised not to leave each other.

At the age of 18, Ahn Mi So and Go Ha Eun began to find their world. Go Ha Eun has feelings for someone she has only seen once. Ahn Mi So was determined to match the man until the three of them began to be good friends.

But fate is often not in line. At the age of 23, they were separated because of the changing principles and environment.

A few years later, Ahn Mi So and Go Ha Eun met again. Secrets after secrets began to be revealed which eventually became a question for 15 years of their friendship.

Soulmate also stars Nam Yoon Su, Jang Hye Jin, Park CHOng Seon, Heo Ji Na, Kang Mal Geum, Lee Suk airing and Kim Soo Hyung.

The film Soulmate airs in a sneak preview session starting today and tomorrow, March 18 to 19, 2023. The film Soulmate will officially be released on the Indonesian cinema network starting March 22, 2023.
