Released First Trailer, Nussa Animated Film Ready To Show In Cinemas

JAKARTA - After being delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the animated film Nussa from the studio The Little Giantz and Visinema Pictures will air on the big screen.

Nussa, which was produced by Ricky Manoppo and Anggia Kharisma, is the first animated film from Visinema. Producer Anggia hopes that the footage of the Nussa film released last Sunday can cure the longing of the audience for Nussa's character.

"As the first animated release from Visinema in collaboration with The Little Giantz, we are very excited about the process of this film, it takes seriousness and patience during the production of the film. The film Nussa was directed by Bony Wirasmono, whose script was written by Muhammad Nurman and Widya Arifianti. This film tells the story of Nussa (9), the defending champion of a science competition at her school, who has to face the presence of Jonni (9), a new student who is no less great. Is Nussa able to win the science competition?

The film, which is adapted from the Nussa web series, will mainly lift the characters from the characters. Nussa animation first appeared on YouTube in November 2018.

Launching Era.id, Nussa animation planned to be appointed to the big screen last year. However, this was failed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only that, the Nussa series on television must also stop broadcasting on television.

On his Instagram account last week Ustaz Felix Siauw said that around April and May 2020 the Nussa animation team was really hit by a pandemic where most of its employees had to be laid off.

"Supposedly @filmnussa could be completed in the Lebaran 2020 holiday, not only because of the pandemic, but canceled for broadcasting, because the conditions did not allow. The situation was even more uncertain. I still told them to be patient," wrote Ustaz Felix.

Serial Nussa finally said goodbye on Friday, January 1. However, now they are back in the big screen version.

Executive producer Aditya Triantoro (CEO of The Little Giantz) and Angga Dwimas Sasongko (CEO of Visinema Pictures) want to present animated films that are supported by cool technology and the power of stories about Nussa that can be enjoyed by all Indonesian people.

Aditya hopes that the presence of the Nussa film in theaters can bring fresh air to the animation industry in Indonesia.

"With the presence of the Nussa Film in theaters, it can show the quality of animation in Indonesia which is very ready to compete in the international ranks. It is not only limited to the quality of animation, but also competing in terms of storytelling, which in my opinion is one of the secrets to the success of an animated film", said Adit.
