JAKARTA - Sneaker fans, get ready to hunt for the latest collection from the first Nike in 2021, namely the Nike SB Dunk Low "Street Hawker."

These shoes were designed by Jason Deng and feature 22 details that are inspired by street food.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Street Hawker” expresses the ties between different regions of China. The uniqueness of this shoe is that it consists of various materials and patterns. Become an overview of the culinary riches across the country.

Chinese snacks illustrate shoes, including packaging boxes. There are differences in pictures and patterns on the right and left to make the uniqueness of this shoe even more pronounced.

On the left shoe, the color is more towards a light beige. The toe of the shoe mimics the color and texture of Beijing's green bean soup or douzhi, paired with a donut or jiaoquan pattern.

On the side, there is an embossed suede material depicting slices of pita bread as an illustration of the xi'an eyebrow pita bread dish with goat soup. The mutton soup itself is depicted in a water-colored pattern along the side.

There is also a faded water color on the side of the heel that looks like yangchun noodles from Shanghai. Combined with the Nike emblem which depicts the wood grain on the chopsticks.

The inside of the left shoe is made to resemble a blue sky. It is inspired by Chinese slang which depicts that ordinary people treat food as heaven for them.

As for the right shoe, you can see the color is more bright orange to represent the combination of spicy and sweet flavors.

The tips of the shoes are metallic in color, inspired by the Chengdu hot pot for cooking. On the side, there is an ostrich skin to represent the crispy goose skin which is famous in Guangzhou.

On the right side of the shoe, the Nike emblem is painted silver, similar to the metal hook used to hang roasted geese.

The yellow outer sole represents cooking oil, while the red collar lining represents meat dishes.

One of the things that is found on the two parts of the shoe is Chinese calligraphy that says "food" and is made with black and white threads.

And there are four shoelaces inspired by important spices in Chinese cuisine, namely green for onions, yellow for ginger, white for garlic, and black for black pepper.
