Dive Marks IKON's Appearance With A 6 Personnel Formation

JAKARTA - YG Entertainment's K-Pop group, iKON, officially returns with the Dive track. This is the first time iKON will appear as six of them after leaving Hanbin, their leader. But the departure of BI (stage name Hanbin) is not completely forgotten, as he is still part of the mini album i DECIDE.

The music video for Dive was released Thursday, February 6 at 6 p.m. South Korean time. This music video features the six members dancing together. Some of the scenes alternated with trying to penetrate an element such as fire, doors, and the things that held them in place such as the lyrics of the song Dive.

This easy listening track has country nuances since the sound of the guitar plays at the beginning of the song, showing the iKON members' vocals that are different from their signature hip-hop style. Romantic lyrics about self-acceptance for loved ones are implied by words; "If you're fire I'll dive into it. I'll say it's warm & flare up. If you're a thorny path, I'll dive onto it. I'll say it's soft & throw myself against it"

Hanbin produced this album with help from MILLENIUM, Diggy, Kang Ukjin, Seung, HRDR, DUSTYYY HAN, iHwak. Two members of iKON; Bobby and DK also participated in making the album i DECIDE. Previously, YG had explained that this comeback plan should be carried out in mid-2019, but it had to be postponed because of what happened to Hanbin some time ago.

The mini album i DECIDE contains 5 tracks, namely Ah Yeah, All The World, Holding On, Flower, and Dive which are the main tracks. Especially for the song Flower, which is fully produced by DK, iKON displays their ballad side.

The hashtag #iKON_iDECIDE immediately entered the trending topic after the release of this mini album, signifying the iconic (iKON fans) longing for iKON's work after a year. iKON will also carry out a comeback event through the VLive streaming service today.
