JAKARTA - Hiroaki Kato has released a new single, Saa Ikou! and collaborated with former member of the idol group JKT48, Mikha Shahab.

Hiroaki Kato is known as a Japanese singer who often works with Indonesian and Japanese musicians, namely, Arina Mocca, Noe Letto, Ariel Noah, Maizura and Sukima Switch.

"I have a plan in 2023 to release a second album and the concept is indeed a collaboration with Indonesian singers," said Hiro regarding his collaboration with Junya in a statement received by VOI.

"For this single, it's the best fit, everyone," continued Hiro, who admitted that he was quite familiar with him because the two were often on the same stage at every music festival.

The Japanese-Indonesian version of the Rindu Room singer then explained the reasons for choosing Kia and the meaning of the song Saa Ikou!.

"Actually, I released this song thanks to a collaboration with a digital educational platform in Indonesia called Edigy. I made this song for children who are still in school so that they understand as early as possible that life is full of challenges and we as humans cannot walk alone so don't be ashamed to ask family, friends or teachers when facing difficulties and of course we have to go forward together, don't give up," he explained.

"Ayana fits perfectly in this song because she is still young, her future is bright, and of course her voice is good," added Hiro.
