Wulan Guritno Expressed His Reason For Being Willing To Play Open BO

JAKARTA - Wulan Guritno had shocked the virtual world when he announced that he would play in a series called Open BO. With a fairly provocative image, Wulan was trending and became the talk of netizens.

The mother of three revealed the reason why she was willing to play in the series with the provocative title. "We don't see it from the title, we can see from the story," he told the media crew in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, January 25.

"The story itself is of course you are curious about what we presented at the beginning before. From the character I played, I have never played a mother who has to survive, she has another profession, namely selling herself," he continued.

In the Open BO series, Wulan plays Ambar, a woman who has a child named Shafa. To support her family, Ambar decided to sell herself under the pseudonym Mawar.

The character Ambar played by Wulan Guritno will compete acting with Winky Wiryawan who plays Jaka, a screenwriter who is conducting research on the world of Open BO and Aryo Wahab who plays Abhimanyu, a politician who has an affair with Ambar.

Kadang-kadang kan punya sudupan yang berbeda, ini kan berbeda-beda karakter, jadi kita satuin tayang merahnya, pendalamannya di sana, ujarnya.

With a short time, without notifying the details, Wulan admitted that she took the time to observe several people to find the right character. He specifically conducted different research for two characters which he considered contradictory, Ambar and Mawar.

Wulan also tried to describe what would dominate her acting in the Open BO series. "We are not action film scenes, not ghost-challenging horror films too, so we are more emotional. Emotional as Ambar with all his life problems," he concluded.
