JAKARTA - Foo Fighters teased fans by releasing new song pieces ahead of the release of their 10th album, Medicine At Midnight.

The band led by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl debuted the first single from the new full album, Shame Shame, on the post-election episode of the US president, Saturday Night Live in November.

Accompanied by the epic music video, Grohl explained that the Shame Shame video was influenced by a dark corner of the soul he had experienced for more than 40 years.

"It's crazy, the idea for the video came from a dream I had when I was 14 or 15 that I remember all my life," Grohl told NME.

Yesterday, Tuesday December 29th, Foo Fighters took to social media to share another snippet of another new song. "New year. New music," the band wrote in the post.

It is unclear what the title of the new song will be or when it will be released, but the tweet indicates that the song will be released in the near future.

As for their new album, Medicine At Midnight will be released February 5, 2021. Originally, the album will be released this year to mark the band's 25th anniversary.
