JAKARTA - Tom DeLonge says Blink-182's new album is the best they've ever made.

DeLonge, who rejoined Blink-182 in October 2022 after seven years out, shared posts on Instagram last week, marking his bandmates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.

"This is the best album we've ever made," wrote the vocalist and guitarist, accompanied by a cartoon picture of a rabbits from the band's Loserkids poster (1999).

"Security belt has been tightened. I personally am crazy and very proud of what we have made together. As a unit, the strength of pleasure, youth is eternal, and most importantly close friends."

In October, the classic Blink-182 line-up released a comeback single titled Edging, announcing world tours and confirming the work on their new album.

DeLonge sebelumnya mengatakan, rekaman Blink-182 yang akan datang memiliki beberapa musik paling progrestif dan tinggi yang pernah kami miliki. To be honest, saya menahan breath agar kalian mendengar lagu-lagu lain ini. Edging itu menyenangkan, dan cara sempat untuk mengingatkan kalian akan kesinan itu lagi. Tapi tunggu.

Their last studio album, Nine, came out in 2019. This is the second recording featuring former guitarist Matt Skiba, after California (2016). Before Edging, DeLonge had not contributed to the Blink-182 project since the Dog's Eating Dogs (2012) EP (mini album).
