JAKARTA - The rock icon Billy Idol will be given a star of respect at the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

The 2,743th star in history and the first in 2023 will be dedicated to Idol at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard ahead of Amoeba Music.

Idol was awarded the Hollywood Walk OF Fame star in the Recording category.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to host the globally iconic Hollywood Walk Of Fame since 1960.

The existence of this Chamber of Commerce is to change business and improve the standard of life. Through the Walk Of Fame, they celebrate businesses that change the entertainment business.

"There will be many rebels shouting (Rebbel Yell, taken from their favorite Billy Idol - red) rock star Billy Idol when he receives the Walk Of Fame star he deserves on January 5," said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame quoted from Blabbermouth.

"Since the beginning of his career, Billy Idol has captivated the hearts of many of his fans who were finally able to visit his star and witness his inauguration into the Walk Of Fame," Martinez added.

Based on Idol's latest upload on its official Instagram account, the delivery of the Hollywood Walk Of Fame star was pushed back to Friday, January 6, due to unfriendly weather.

Joining the host of Lupita Sanchez Cornejo for the star-giving ceremony were the artist Shepard Fairey and rocker Henry Rollins.
