Aminah Cendrakasih Profile: Popular Thanks To Mak Nyak, Close Age With Doel

Actress Aminah Cendrakasih passed away today, Wednesday, December 21. This sad news was conveyed by Rano Karno through social media.

"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rojiun has passed away Mak Nyak (Amenah Cendrakasih). May the deceased be accepted by all his deeds of worship and given the best place by Allah SWT Aamin YRA," wrote Rano Karno.

The relationship between Rano Karno and Aminah Cendrakasih does look familiar because the two of them were in the same soap opera title, Si Doel Anak Sekolahan. Aminah plays Mak Nyak who is the mother of Doel's character, played by Rano.

Aminah Cendrakasih was born on January 29, 1938. His name grew up in the '50s' era with a number of films. He is the son of celebrity couple Husni Nagibb andULLy Sutinah. He is also active in playing roles as a player.

His name became known after he acted in the film Serampang 12 in 1956. He also received an award from the National Film Council for his contribution to the world of film.

His career was stopped after he married Idris Permana. Then he returned to the television screen in 1970.

Again, his name became known after he starred in the soap opera Si Doel Anak Sekolahan directed by Rano Karno. He plays Mak Nyak who has been attached to him until now.

Aminah also starred in several titles of the soap opera Doel which aired in early 2000. Starting from Si Doel Millennium, Si Doel Anak Gedongan, and Si Doel Anak Pinggiran.

In the film, he had a long hiatus when he entered the 2000s era. At that time the last film he starred in was in 1998 until he returned with Si Doel The Movie in 2018.

Then he also starred in two other Si Doel films until the End of the Love Story of Si Doel in 2021. Aminah is known to have a glaukuma disease but he is still enthusiastic in presenting the character of Mak Nyak.

He is also rumored to have shot for the latest version of the Si Doel Anak Sekolahan series. This is his last acting project.

Aminah Cendrakasih died at the age of 84 years.
