49 Years Of Acting, Cok! Finally Got The Opportunity To Be A Voice Actor In Animated Films

JAKARTA - Seasoned actor Cok Princhara has become one of the voice actors in the animated film Panji directed by Falcon Pictures. After 49 years in the world of stunting, Cok's involvement in animated films is his first time.

"This is a new experience for us. I thought at first it was like dubbing, because it's fun with the concept of dubbing. When I thought it was only DUbbing, eh it turned out to be wrong, so in the studio everyone would pay off. If there is nosumber (director), we won't be able to afford it," said Cok

On his occasion to speak to the media crew, CokENTira also told his story of his initial acting. Starting in 1973, the actor who is currently 69 years old started his career as a theater player. At that time, Cok had already appeared around Southeast Asia, but he did not get paid for his appearance. The Cita Cup winner is willing to appear because of his love for the world of action.

The beginning of Cok?a's appearance in the film world began when he was still studying at the Jakarta Arts Institute (IKJ). Thanks to his introduction to an assistant director, Cok received an offer to star in a film called Kugapai Cintamu. For his first role, Cok was willing to cut his long hair.

Since then, Cok has been constantly appearing in dozens of films. He did not deny that his luck changed after acting in films. "Yes, how about it, actually media (film) still acting too, the same as theater. It's just different, it means this is a new chapter for my life, which yesterday I hang out as a theater person, now I'm a film person," he said.

At the age of seven, Cok began to choose when he received an offer to act. For health reasons, he no longer wants to shoot for too long like filming stripping.

"For now, I'm starting to choose, 'this is if I continue, isn't it hard work later?' Because physically, it's starting to eat away at us. It's not easy, especially shooting, for example, it should be stripping," he said.

Cok admitted that he had certain conditions when he received an offer to act. His willingness to be a voice actor at Panji was also due to the voice recording process which was not too draining.

"I have certain conditions for that. If for example they want to fulfill my requirements, I live it. And it's all his thoughts not because of arrogance, what I think I have to be healthy. If I do this not healthy, I would prefer to choose another one. There are still options, "he added.
