JAKARTA - Mexican influencer who is also the OnlyFans model, Joselyn Cano, died after the Brazilian butt lift failed. What is a Brazilian butt lift and what are the risks of doing this procedure?

Launching Sehatq.com, Friday, December 18th, the Brazilian butt lift is an operation performed to enlarge the buttocks. This procedure is a plastic surgery, so it must be performed by a plastic surgeon.

Brazilian butt lift works by grafting fat from another part of the body to increase the size of the buttocks to make them look fuller and rounder.

The fat that is transferred usually comes from excess fat in the hips, abdomen, lower back, or thighs.

This fat will be removed via liposuction and then strategically injected into the buttocks.

The Brazilian butt lift does not involve placing butt implants like other surgeries. Therefore, the resulting buttocks can appear more natural.

Two years ago, consumer consulting organization, Seven On Your Side, through its spokesperson, Kimberly Suiter, launched a risk warning from the Brazilian butt lift procedure.

Suiter said patients face the risk of the body absorbing 50 percent of the chemicals that increase the potential for stroke to death.

Suiter has performed Brazilian butt lift on 3000 patients since the 90's and no patient has died as a result of the procedure he performed.

However, after hearing the warnings from a number of plastic surgeons, he immediately changed his surgical technique. Suiter no longer "sheds" fat on the muscles in the buttocks.

This method does provide instant results, but it turns out to be harmful to the health and life of the patient.

The Mirror reports that Brazilian butt lifts have caused a number of deaths in recent years as their popularity soars.

One study found that the death rate from this procedure was 3,000 higher than that of other cosmetics, according to USA Today.
