Playing Qorin, Zulfa Maharani Follows Candidates

JAKARTA - Zulfa Maharani returns to the big screen through the horror film produced by IDN PICTURES, Qorin. In the film, Zulfa plays a female student named Zahra.

Zulfa said he was proud that he could have the opportunity to return to star in horror films. However, he said the process of performing maximally in Qorin was not something easy, especially when he had to deal with mystical things.

Zulfa considers that the role she got this time is something new, which she has never played before. "This Zahra character is a new color for me personally as an actor," said Zulfa, met in Jakarta, Tuesday, November 29.

Raising the theme of friendship and issues in society, Zulfa expressed his pride in getting the opportunity to play as Zahra who is the central figure in the Qorin film story.

I'm very happy to be a representative to raise the issues that we want to voice. So, I hope that my character can inspire people out there," he said.

However, Zulfa admitted that playing Zahra's character was not an easy thing, especially since she also had to play Zahra's qorine. Luckily, he was given enough time to explore the characters he played.

"I also want to thank the director and the proclusion team, we have a lot of time to explore in character, because each character has an interesting side. And we also play two characters, it definitely takes time, and we are given a long time to be able to explore," he said.

During the filming process, Zulfa admitted that he had experienced something unpleasant. He was informed by the people on set that he was followed by a figure of a creature.

"Yes, actually, we came back again, we were shooting horror films, we definitely didn't immediately lure us. Just back again, if I was private, because I couldn't see it and was sensitive, but it was other people who saw me, he said there were things that were rich in stickers, you know," said Zulfa.

Not wanting the filming process to be disrupted because he is not concentrating, Zulfa prefers to think positively.

"It's just that I think positively, it's not, it just drops. Because there are a lot of scenes, I'm alone, right, so if people look like that, maybe when I drop," he concluded.
