The Mangkujiwo 2 Film Teaser Signs A Blood Stake And Conflict

JAKARTA - The production house MVP Pictures released the first teaser for the film Mangkujiwo 2. After releasing its first look, MVP teased the audience by presenting a teaser that began to show horror in the second film.

The 44-second teaser starts with Yasamin Jasem as Uma who looks faint in the living room. Then Marthino Lio approached Uma while looking in the corner of the room.

Behind another room, a man died hanging himself and fell to the floor. Kuntilanak, who saw the man was covered in blood and left a puzzle to the audience.

Short but tense, Mangkujiwo 2 continues the story of his first film which focuses on the Mangkujiwo sect. This film is still directed by Azhar Kinoi Lubis who works on many horror stories.

We made this 2 Mangkujiwo film to treat the longing of Mangkujiwo sect followers. It was these Mangkujiwo sect followers who burned our enthusiasm to make a continuation of Mangkujiwo," said Azhar Kinoi Lubis.

Besides Yasamin and Marthino, Mangkujiwo 2 stars Sujiwo Tejo, Karina Suwandi, Djenar Maesa Ayu, Yayu Unru, Kiki Narendra, and Widika Sidmore.

The film Mangkujiwo 2 has finished filming in October 2022 yesterday. The locations are set in three cities, namely, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Solo.

The theme in the decades of the 70s, the cultivation of Artistic System in Mangkujiwo 2 was carried out with a fairly serious and very detailed approach. The script was also worked on by Dirmawan Hatta, who involved people under the name Semesta Kuntilanak

The Mangkujiwo 2 film will hit theaters starting January 26, 2023.
