JAKARTA - The Paramount + streaming service will expand its wings to the country of ginseng. They announced cooperation with CJ ENM, which is the production house for several Korean dramas. Their latest series, Bargain, is confirmed to be broadcast internationally via Paramount+. While in its home country, this drama is currently airing via TVING. Bargain is a series that tells the story of No Hyung Soo (Jin Seon Kyu) who goes to aKAN to meet Park Joo Young (Jeon Jong Seo). Hyung Soo was about to pay for Joo Young's service but a surprise awaits her. No Hyung Soo is waiting for a number of people who want to buy their organs. They bid to get an organ with Park Joo Young who held the auction. Things change when an earthquake occurs. They are trapped in a building and have to survive in the midst of lack of trust from each other. The Bargain series is an adaptation of Lee Chung Hyun's short film which was released in 2015. However, a plot regarding a new earthquake was added to the serial version. For the serial version, Bargain is directed by Jun Woo Sung who worked on the short film. The film also stars Chang Ryul, Kang Gil Woo, Jo Han Joon, and Park Hyung Soo. This series is a form of cooperation between Paramount and CJ ENM which is also a company for TVING. Previously they also released Yonder who became the first content. Therefore, international audiences can watch the Bargain series starting in 2023.
