Michelle Yeoh And Pete Davidson Join In Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts

JAKARTA - Michelle Yeoh and Pete Davidson joined the film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts by becoming voice actors. The film will hit theaters on June 9, 2023.

Director Steven Caple Jr. announced the information through uploads on the Instagram page, which displays two different videos from the recording session.

"The @transformersmovie fans are amazing, man. Take a peek at Pete voicing Mirage & @michelleyeoh_official blessing us as Airazor's voice #rotb 2023," Steven said.

Yeoh voiced a character named Airazor, while Davidson voiced Mirage. The two of them joined other actors, namely Anthony Ramos and Dominque Fishback, who will star in the film in the direct action role.

Rise of the Beasts will bring the Transformers franchise to the 1990s. The film is said to introduce Maximals and Terrorcons, two cybernetic aliens who will side in the Earth's battle between Autobots and problemcons.

In the world of Transformers, Yeoh's character, Airazor, is a member of Maximals, who is a descendant of Autobots. He can turn appearance into an eagle.

Mirage is an autobot that previously appeared in the film Transformers Paramount, voiced by late actor Francesco resulting in Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is produced by Lorenzo in Bonavetura, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian, and Duncan Henderson. Entertainment One, Hasbro's studio will act as executive producers, while Skydance and New Republic Pictures will co-financing and executive producers.
