JAKARTA - For fans of the Super Mario cartoon, Universal Studios Japan is giving the first appearance of the Super Mario Kart rides as a part of Super Nintendo World.

Today, Monday, November 30, through its official website, Universal Studios has released several arenas that can be visited by anyone. There is a Bowser Palace with King Koopa who can be found in the vehicle.

Then, there is Mario Kart which can be driven by up to four passengers. An interactive game will be presented where passengers have to pick up Koopa shells along the way.

To enter the Super Mario arena, visitors must buy a Power Up Band. The wristband will be connected to the application so that visitors can collect virtual coins and compete with other visitors.

After successfully fighting the enemy and earning coins and keys, visitors will meet the final boss in Bowser's castle.

An interactive playing arena is also presented in the Super Mario ride called Yoshi Adventure. You can drive a dinosaur and follow an adventure map and pass through Beanpole mountains as can be seen in Super Mario 3D World.

Quoting Soranews24 on the same day, the release of this first look was made five years after its announcement. They have had to postpone their planned opening in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, a release date was set. February 4, 2021 will be the opening date for the Super Mario Kart rides to the public.
