JAKARTA - Boo Seung-kwan, also known as Seungkwan, one of the personnel of the K-pop idol group SEVENTEEN, expressed his regret on the sidelines of the group concert titled "[BE THE SUN] - JAKARTA" at ICE BSD City, Tangerang on Saturday night.

He regretted his regret towards his mother who was on her birthday. Seungkwan admitted that he had an argument with his mother before leaving for Indonesia.

"I want to apologize to my mother. I want to say I love you," said Seungkwan, who then thanked him for giving him the opportunity to express his heart, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

Seungkwan, who is known by his colleagues as the king of the previous drama theme song, also showed his vocal abilities without musical accompaniment.

At that time he sang several lines of the lyrics to the song "The Reason" which became the theme song for the drama "Lovestruck in the City". This drama stars actors Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won.

At first Seungkwan took the wrong tone. He then slapped his right and left cheeks, and laughed back at his fans.

He then started singing again on the lyrics "Naega neoreul geurimyeo seaneun yu. Aega tadorok maeil bureun iyu. Gachi eopsodo waenji hamkke inneun deut neoneun. Tteeonael su eomneun nae nameoji".

"Really the king of the drama OST," said DK after Seungkwan finished his song.

On the sidelines of the concert, he had expressed his longing for the fans. He asked how they were and understood the long wait fans to meet since the COVID-19 pandemic hit almost the last three years

"How are you? I know very well that Jakarta has been waiting for us for so long. Thank you for waiting for us. I'm sorry that you waited so long," said Seungkwan.

In the concert "[BE THE SUN] - JAKARTA", he and his group performed "HOT" as the opening song. This song also opened their concert in Seoul last June and North America in August 2022.

The 13 SEVENTEEN personnel, namely welcome, Mingyu, Wonwoo, S.Coups, Woozi, DK, Seungkwan, Jeonghan, Joshua, Dino, The8, Jun and Hoshi appeared on stage at around 18.35 WIB, wearing all black clothes.
