The Story Of Seram Adinda Thomas Is Surrounded By Hundreds Of Snakes While Filming KKN In Penari Village

JAKARTA - The best-selling horror film in Indonesia KKN in Penari Village will air starting August 30, 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar. The uncut version is also available on the same platform. Uncut version has a longer duration than the cut version. If the cut version lasts 121 minutes, this shortcut version will have a duration of 130 minutes. This film will bring viewers to a mystical story of six students who are doing a Real Work Lecture (KKN) in Penari Village, where they will experience a series of horrific events caused by the village guard's fine creature, Badarawuhi.

Before watching the KKN again in Uncut Dance Village, Adinda Thomas recalled filming with the original snake because this film gave birth to many snakes in several scenes. One of them is where Adinda Thomas, who plays the character Widya, has to act wrapped and be crushed by real snakes.

Adinda, who was originally afraid of snakes, had to go through a workshop process with snakes that were different, until finally she felt familiar with snakes.

"It's still difficult, imagining being surrounded by snakes, then having to build chemistry with co-stars and memorize dialogue," Adinda said in a release received by VOI, Monday, August 29.

Apart from Adinda, there was also Achmad Megantara who revealed that in playing the character Bima, he was required to swim with 60 snakes at once during filming.

Of the total 110 snakes that appeared in the film, it turned out that several snakes had disappeared. The director, Awi Suryadi, explained that several snakes immediately fled after the scene in the pool of water, allegedly because the snake did not like water. This incident certainly made the players and crew at the place panic erratically.
