JAKARTA - The band from Jakarta, Smooth Soft, has risen by preparing a new single. The song, whose title is still being kept secret, is a follow-up to Kapal Miring which was released four years ago.
According to Ongko, guitarist for Smooth Soft, the single will be released next month as well as marking their comeback after a long hiatus.
"We still want to make music and work, that's why we are preparing a second single. Of course (the song) is contemporary, but still smells of Indonesia," said Ongko in an official statement received by VOI.
The band, which also consists of Zula (vocals) and Julian (drums), explained that Indonesia is meant in the song later on is the diversity of our country which consists of various ethnic groups.
"We chose to describe it with Indonesian men, of course, the faces of men in Indonesia are diverse. For the details, just wait," said Ongko.
However, before releasing his second single, Smooth Soft will perform for the first time after the pandemic at the 2022 House Music Festival (PMR 2022) on 19 August.
