John Boyega Wants To Be The Next James Bond

JAKARTA - Along with the retirement of Daniel Craig as James Bond, not a few fans have speculated about who the next cast will be.

Actor John Boyega did not hesitate to express his desire to portray this phenomenal character.

Through an MTV News interview today, Monday, November 16, Boyega hopes to bring something different if he is appointed as the next James Bond.

“Ooh! Listen, with director Steve McQueen, let's do this. We can show them something different. We will bring the sophisticated side. You know, James Bond has to be James Bond. But we can do things with that role, ”said the Star Wars actor.

This news began to circulate after actress Letitia Wright wanted John Boyega to be the next James Bond actor. Wright said Boyega would like the role and Boyega was a humble person.

Daniel Craig also had time to send messages for whoever would fill his place. “Don't spoil this film. "Do well when you get the role," said Craig with a laugh.

Previously, actor Henry Cavill also expressed his desire to play James Bond.

In addition, several names such as Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, and Tom Hardy are rumored to be the cast of James Bond. However, MGM has yet to decide on the next actor.

Meanwhile, the postponed film No Time To Die will be released starting April 2, 2021 in theaters.
