JAKARTA - The production of The Matrix 4 film in Berlin ended with a bit of controversy. On Wednesday, November 11, the film production team celebrated the The Matrix 4 party at the Babelsberg film studios, Berlin.

The party that was held reportedly violated the COVID-19 health protocol. Health authorities in Berlin allow parties but only 50 people can attend.

However, reportedly the party was attended by more than 50 people, even the main actor Keanu Reeves attended the party.

Launching Indiewire today, November 14, the Berlin government allowed the filming of The Matrix 4 because they promised to comply with health protocols.

But when asked about the party, the health department replied that no events were reported and the two parties did not discuss safety during filming.

The party was held to celebrate the completion of filming for The Matrix 4. One of the guests said that all attendees took the Corona PCR test on the spot and used masks.

When entering the party arena, many guests took off their masks and did not do social distancing. This unnamed guest also noticed that no camera and clapperboard were sounded.

On the other hand, the Warner Bros. as the production house said the party was made to shoot the party scene in the film The Matrix 4 although a guest said there were no cameras filming the party.

The Matrix 4 is scheduled to hit theaters on December 22, 2021.
